Tenaris awarded Beard Construction a contract for construction of the Work In Progress (WIP) Area Concrete Pavement Slab associated with their new seamless tube manufacturing facility in Bay City, Texas. The plan includes the installation of a seamless pipe mill, heat treatment, and threading facilities. The $1.5 billion facility, which began operations in November 2017, will have an annual production capacity of 600,000 tons of high quality seamless pipes and will be fully integrated with the rest of Tenaris’ U.S. manufacturing and service operations.
