Beard Construction Group, LLC (BCG) is pleased to announce its recent acquisition of Gulf South Piling & Construction, Inc. Based in Metairie, Louisiana, Gulf South Piling & Construction, Inc. has been a prominent pile-driving leader in Louisiana for the past 42 years.  Jim Beard, President of BCG, is extremely excited about the opportunities the addition of Gulf South Piling brings to its capabilities, making BCG a more comprehensive civil contractor.  In addition, this acquisition allows BCG to offer its current and future client bases added competitive pricing for projects in today’s market.

Gulf South Piling will operate as a Division of Beard Construction Group LLC and remain located in Metairie, Louisiana.   Michael Kelly, longtime manager at Gulf South Piling, will serve as the Division Manager. In addition, Wayne Calabresi will serve as the Business Unit Manager, along with retaining other Key and Experienced Personnel to continue Gulf South Piling’s reputation of Safe, Efficient, and On-Time Pile Driving Capabilities.
