RD Morrow Repowering Project
Cooperative Energy awarded Beard Construction Group a lump sum contract to perform site preparation for their repowering project in Purvis, Mississippi. Beard’s scope of work lasted just over 7 months, and the work performed included site preparation for the new plant expansion, laydown areas, parking areas, and area drainage required for the project. Beard provided many value saving solutions to Cooperative Energy and Burns and McDonnell. Beard’s long term working relationship with Cooperative Energy and Burns and McDonnell lent itself to providing a high level of trust between the contractor, EPC, and client. This in turn, created cost-saving solutions for the project. Beard performed the work with zero safety incidents and completed the project on schedule.
